2017 Applying Simulation to Stay on the Leading Edge

Respiratory care knowledge of advanced medical technologies, together with understanding patient physiology, anatomy and healthcare diagnoses and conditions, is essential to deliver high quality and safe patient care. For these reasons, ongoing education of the Respiratory Care Practitioner can be complex and challenging for the hospital-based clinical educator. It is the educator’s job to construct the best and most memorable educational experience. This webinar is designed to familiarize the participant with the curriculum development/instructional design process along with the fundamentals of the educational strategy-simulation to enhance and advance hospital-based education. In addition, the presenter will speak about the role of the hospital-based clinical educator in the future.

This AARC webcast is approved for 1.0 CRCE.
